Katrina五周年记

飓风过后的五年，新奥尔良发生了不少变化，这几天各大媒体云集法国角，电视里也都是对当地人民生活和重建的报导。我所在的学校在飓风过后经历了紧急财政状态，重组了一些系和学科，学生从回来不到一半到慢慢恢复正常水平，如今又面临州里最大的经费削减。我们工程学院的院长退休了，系里和我同时来的同事基本走光了，当年一起逃难的朋友也搬走了。今天和最坚定地留在新奥尔良的朋友一起吃午饭，聊圣徒橄榄球队，聊美食，也回忆这些年朋友们的聚散。缘缘今天特别乖，让我们的午饭吃得很尽兴，希望她的童年不要再经历象Katrina飓风这样的磨砺。晚上看了娄烨导演的新片，春风沉醉的夜晚，镜头一如既往地摇晃，场景依旧朦胧，情绪依然涌动着暧昧与哀伤，只是演员们我已不再熟悉。拿《颐和园》的标准要求，这部片子有点让我失望，而且注定不能在内地上映。

吃在爱丁堡

由于嗓子不好，在爱丁堡没有怎么发掘苏格兰的美食。会议第一天晚上五个人一起去吃粤菜，主要是图离会场近，我点的八珍豆腐煲油腻了些，还不如李老师点的上汤菠菜受欢迎。会议最后一天终于去了一家还不错的苏格兰餐馆，点了个苏格兰特色的开胃拼盘，尝到了haggis，爽。主菜我点了海鱼香豆配熏肉，味道独特，就是份量略少。带回家打算送人的苏格兰shortbread全进LD肚子里了，也算物尽其用。
